Interview with Jeff Nichols, director of Shotgun Stories

Zach and Will get the chance to talk to Jeff Nichols, the director of the soon-to-be released Arkansas set drama Shotgun Stories. Produced by David Gordon Green, an industry heavyweight and college friend (both attended the North Carolina School of the Arts). Shotgun Stories began filming in late 2004 and made its festival premiere in February of 2007. It has since garnered much critical acclaim and Nichols is now residing in Austin, Texas and working on scripts for future projects. We talk to him about filming in Arkansas, casting Michael Shannon, and turning the classic revenge film structure on its head.
